 Guests on the Disney Dining Plan now have a new way to use their Quick Service Meal entitlements at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park: The new Picnic in the Park option lets them take their adventure a step further by dining in the wild! Each Picnic in the Park is packaged in an "Every Tree Has Character" reusable bag, and includes plates and utensils so Guests may enjoy their meal at one of the many picnic spots in the Park. Meals include a choice of entrées, side dishes, desserts and bottled water. Your Clients may select their entrées from one of two tiers: - Tier 1 features a choice of chicken wrap, ham grinder, tuna pita or turkey focaccia sandwich for each member of the party.
- Tier 2 offers a choice of rotisserie chicken or ham.
Depending on the number in the party, your Clients may select from one or more the following side dishes: chips, coleslaw, corn medley, green beans, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, orzo pasta, oven-roasted potato wedges, seasonal fruit salad, or tomato and cucumber salad. Dessert options include an apple, orange, brownie, cookie, cornbread or crisped rice treat. |

A New Party Hits the Streets of Disneyland |

 "Celebrate! A Street Party" is coming, and it will rock the heart of Disneyland® Park with the beat of some of the best party tunes of all time. Scheduled to debut in late March, this new street spectacular will bring the party to you as it journeys along the Disneyland Park parade route. Balloons and streamers will fill the air while crazy conga lines, swing dancers and some of guests favorite Disney Characters take to the street to celebrate with them! Dancers will perform alongside traveling performance platforms that feature amazing special effects. DJs will be spinning several different styles of popular party music, including swing, Latin and rock. "Celebrate! A Street Party" will be a fun way for guests to answer the question, "What will you celebrate?" Daily performances are scheduled to begin on March 27, 2009. Be sure to check the Entertainment Times Guide once you arrive at Disneyland Park for the latest information on performance times and locations. |

New Ship Construction Begins |

 Disney Cruise Line® began construction on two new ships with a steel-cutting ceremony at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Scheduled for completion in 2011 and 2012, the new ocean liners will create even more family cruise options for your Clients. New Treehouse Villas Now available to book at Walt Disney World |

 Scheduled to open June 1, 2009, The Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are now taking reservations. Elevated 10 feet off the ground, all 60 stand-alone Treehouse Villas are set among the treetops to offer families an intimate retreat that sleeps nine, while providing all the modern comforts guests desire. Nestled in natural forest glens, The Treehouse Villas mark the newest phase of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. This new phase will revive Walt Disney World® Resort "treehouse living," a tradition from 1975 to 2002. The Treehouse Villas opened in 1975 as the first stand-alone accommodations on Walt Disney World Resort property, and became a "well kept secret" for returning Guests who loved their seclusion and charm. While the original villas of the 1970s are being replaced with 60 brand-new vacation homes, Imagineers took special care to honor the original octagonal design in the treetops. |
